Innovation Starter is the first specialized innovation agency in Bulgaria, founded by Mrs. Leona Aslanova in 2014. It collaborates with the business (corporates and startups), the public, the academic, and the non-government sectors to design a long-term culture of innovation. The company’s mission is for Bulgaria to become a leading European country in the field of innovation.
The flagship projects of the Agency are Innovation Starter Accelerator and two of the major innovation events in Southeast Europe, fostering innovative and entrepreneurial culture – the Innovation Explorer Forum and the Innovation Academy event.
Furthermore, Innovation Starter provides training programs and consulting in the field of innovations (Systematic inventive thinking, Design thinking, Lean, Lean Startup, etc.), entrepreneurship (idea generation, validation, growth hacking, organizational culture, etc.), business skills (sales, marketing, finance, project management) and other aspects of the economic expertise.
The Agency is an active catalyst of the Bulgarian investment and startup ecosystem. It is a member of the Bulgarian Startup Association (BESCO) and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
